A diaphragm pump is a type of positive displacement pump that moves fluid through the reciprocating motion of a diaphragm. 1. Inlet Pipe (Water Inlet Pipe)
Suction Port Design: The inlet pipe design must ensure fluid flows smoothly into the pump, avoiding cavitation and fluid turbulence.
Filter: A filter is typically installed in the inlet pipe to prevent solid particles from entering the pump and damaging the diaphragm or other components.
Pipe Diameter: The diameter of the inlet pipe must match the pump’s suction port to ensure efficient fluid flow.
Pipe Length and Elbows: Excessively long pipes or an excessive number of elbows increase fluid flow resistance, so rational design is required.

2. Outlet Pipe (Water Outlet Pipe)
Pressure Resistance: The outlet pipe must withstand the pressure generated during pump operation.
Pipe Diameter: The diameter of the outlet pipe must also match the pump’s outlet to ensure efficient fluid flow.
Pipe Material: Based on the fluid’s properties, the outlet pipe material must resist corrosion from the fluid.
Discharge Point: The discharge point of the outlet pipe must be properly designed to prevent fluid backflow or pump damage.

3. Piping Fittings
Valves: Valves are usually installed on the inlet and outlet pipes to control fluid flow and pressure.
Couplings: Used to connect the pump to the drive motor, ensuring power transmission.
Hoses or Rigid Pipes: Select the appropriate pipe material based on application scenarios and environmental conditions. Hoses are more flexible but may be less durable than rigid pipes.

4. Installation and Maintenance
Support: Pipes require proper support to prevent deformation or damage caused by fluid pressure.
Inspection: Regularly inspect pipe connections to ensure no leakage.
