Key Features
Lightweight and High Strength Aluminum Casting
The pump body is made of precision-cast aluminum alloy, which has only one-third the density of steel but maintains nice mechanical strength. Through alloying and heat treatment, its structural integrity can match or even exceed that of certain steels.
Nice Casting Performance
Aluminum alloy provides superior fluidity during casting, allowing the production of complex shapes, thin walls, and fine surface textures. This reduces the need for extensive post-processing and ensures dimensional accuracy and a smooth surface finish.
Corrosion Resistance and Thermal Conductivity
The naturally formed oxide film on aluminum surfaces protects the pump against corrosion from air, water, and most neutral solutions. This makes it ideal for use in chemical and marine environments. Additionally, its thermal conductivity is over three times that of steel, helping to maintain stable operation and prevent overheating under continuous duty cycles.
Cost Efficiency and Manufacturing Economy
Aluminum raw materials are abundant and cost-effective compared with copper or magnesium. The low energy consumption in processing, combined with easier machining and drilling operations, significantly reduces total manufacturing costs while maintaining high production efficiency.
High Recyclability and Environmental Sustainability
Aluminum castings can be recycled with only about 5% of the energy required for primary production, and the material’s performance remains virtually unchanged after recycling.
